Building Plans

Hi all! As some of you may be aware, we have been successful in an application for some funding from the Belfast Investment Fund from Belfast City Council. This funding aims to provide a community hub in extension to our current church hall facilities. We are in the process of submitting these plans through the planning process and then to tender once we receive permissions to do so! However we feel that we should make the community aware of our plans ahead of this, especially as this will be for community use.

Our plans include:

-Meeting rooms to allow facilitation of advice space, opportunities for social interaction and facilitation of meetings.

- Sensory rooms which will especially help those who have learning difficulties, developmental disabilities or sensory impairments learn to interact with the world around them, but in a safe environment that builds up their confidence and their ability.

- New upgraded bathroom facilities including a disability friendly bathroom

- New kitchen facilities to allow cooking classes, freezer ministries and greater capacity for hosting community lunches etc
